Yoga in the Flow-A Year of Ayurvedic Self Care

Yoga in the Flow: A Year of Ayurvedic Self-Care

Align Your Life with the Rhythms of Nature

Welcome to Yoga in the Flow: A Year of Ayurvedic Self-Care—an immersive, 12-month experiential journey designed to harmonize your physical body, mind, and spirit with the wisdom of Ayurveda and seasonal transitions. Tailored specifically for the Midwest's climate and seasonal shifts, this program guides you through dedicated seasonal dosha blocks—Kapha, Pitta, and Vata—including vital transitional phases and a sacred closing ritual.

Whether you seek to establish daily self-care rituals (Dinacharya), deepen your yoga and meditation practice, or gain hands-on familiarity in herbalism and Ayurvedic culinary arts, this year-long program provides a supportive, structured environment for lasting transformation.

The Seasonal Journey: Structure & Framework

Our year is thoughtfully structured into seasonal dosha blocks to help you move through the year with vitality, balance, and ease:

  • Late Kapha Season (Feb 2027 – Apr 2027): Invigorating, warming, and energy-moving practices to clear winter accumulation.

  • Spring Transition Phase (May 2027): Balancing changing environmental attributes during seasonal metamorphosis (Ritusandhi).

  • Pitta Season (Jun 2027 – Aug 2027): Cooling, calming, and soothing practices to diffuse summer heat and protect boundaries.

  • Autumn Transition Phase (Sep 2027): Grounding and stabilizing routines during seasonal weather shifts.

  • Vata Season (Oct 2027 – Dec 2027): Warming, grounding, and deeply nourishing practices to protect against autumn dryness and winter cold.

  • Integration & Completion Phase (Jan 2028): Late Vata/Early Kapha integration, reflection, and sacred closing ceremony.
